Poland 2014-15 Home and Away Shirts

Nicknamed Biało-czerwoni(The White and Reds) or Orły(The Eagles), Poland national team is one of successful teams in Europe. The squad once got the runner-up of the 1974 and 1982 World Cups and succeeded making the last eight of the 1978 World Cup. Zbigniew Boniek was the most famous and the greatest Polish player all time. He was capable of playing as a midfielder, a forward or a sweeper. In 2014, Boniek was selected by Pelé as one of the 100 best living footballers. He also played for some football clubs including Widzew Łódź, Juventus and Roma.

The 2014-15 home and away shirts continue the tradition of the national team. The home kit includes red shirt, red shorts and red socks. On the contrary, the away kit includes white shirt, red shorts and white socks. The most iconic and glorious national symbols—the Polish flag and the white eagle are shown on the two shirts, representing the glory and passion of Polish football. They all feature a stylish V-neck collar.

“In addition to providing players with high-performance shirts, our goal is that the jersey can reflect the characteristics of each country. For Polish players, the eagle means a lot, and the support of Polish fanatics is also impressive. The eagle appears twice on the jersey in order to show the relationship between the team and the country.” said Martin Lotti, creative director of Nike.

Nike Dri-FIT technology can absorb sweat from skin quickly and keep players cool and dry.

Nike shirt, shorts and socks are made from recycled polyester, showing the environmental awareness and reducing the impact on environment.
